D-J-Qualls

Donald Joseph Qualls - better popularly known as DJ Qualls - is a model, actor, and producer from the United States. Shooting to fame for his role as a character in Road Trip he has since appeared in over 20 feature films including The New Guy Hustle & Flow and The Core. He also has appeared on more than 22 series, like Breaking Bad Supernatural and Scrubs. The Hodgkin's lymphoma patient who survived, which he was diagnosed at the age of 14 Qualls is a fighter. After two years of treatment the cancer has gone into remission. Treatment was carried out so quickly that it had a severe effect on the body, and stunted his growth. After he began acting, financial security was his goal. He'd experienced poverty in his childhood. He stated, "I've been living so frugal for so many years that I'm in need of money security or else the world is going to feel chaotic to me." He also reminisces about his early years to help him stay motivated. His experience of being a victim is heartbreaking for him. On and off the screen, DJ could like to play a father. The director doesn't choose him for these roles however, he claims. It's a dream to be one day an adult, and you can spend less time on career and spend more time with his children.
